Copy-Paste from Miro to Canvas

Copy - paste is the fastest and easiest way to add images alongside your layouts in your design presentations. Easily copy from Miro to Canvas.

Copy-Paste from Miro to Canvas

• Go to your Canvas dashboard and open an existing Canvas or start a new Canvas. This will open in a new tab or window.

• In a new tab or window, go to Miro.

• With Miro, you have the option of selecting an entire Frame or individual images within the Frame.

Copying a Miro Frame

• Click on the Frame that you want to copy. Right-click and select Copy as image or ctrl+shift+C / cmd+shift+C.

• Navigate to the tab or window of the Canvas you want to copy to. Right-click on the area of the Canvas you want to place your copied items and either select Paste or ctrl+V / cmd+V.

• The entire Frame will be copied and act as one combined image. You will not be able to acces the individual images once the Miro Frame is copied into your Canvas.

Copying individual images from Miro

• Click on each image you'd like to copy. Right-click and select Copy as image or ctrl+shift+C / cmd+shift+C.

• Navigate to the tab or window of the Canvas you want to copy to. Right-click on the area of the Canvas you want to place your copied items and either select Paste or ctrl+V / cmd+V.

• The images you selected will be copied and act as one combined image. You will not be able to acces the individual images once they are copied into your Canvas.

Copying Text from Miro

• Click on text that you'd like to copy. Right-click and select Copy as image or ctrl+shift+C / cmd+shift+C.

• Navigate to the tab or window of the Canvas you want to copy to. Right-click on the area of the Canvas you want to place your copied items and either select Paste or ctrl+V / cmd+V.

• The text you selected will be copied and act as an image. You will not be able to edit the text once it is copied into your Canvas.

• NOTE: If you select Copy from Miro, then when you paste your text into Canvas, the text will convert to an editable text once it's pasted into Canvas. However, any formatting or font style from Miro won't be preserved.
