How to invite team members to collaborate

‍‍‍Canoa was designed to make collaboration easy and simple. Working together on mood boards, furniture layouts, projects and product schedules should be as easy online as it is in person. Effortlessly welcome collaborators, commenters, or viewers directly into your design canvas, creating a shared space where you can focus on teamwork and spend less time dealing with email. This collaborative approach ensures that you can engage in productive interactions, brainstorm collectively, and accelerate the decision-making process. Because good design is never done alone.

Inviting team members to collaborate with you

Need to share your mood board with your client? Want to review your layout with your design colleagues? No gate keeping here! We have a couple of different ways to invite team members to view and collaborate on your designs. You can invite anyone to your Canvas - even someone who doesn't have an account on Canoa.

Add additional Users to your Account:

After adding users to your account, you can now share your Canvas by making it public to everyone in your account.

  • From the Canvas Dashboard, click the three dots of the Canvas thumbnail you'd like to share.

  • Where you see your account name, toggle to either Viewer or Editor access.

  • Your permissions have now been updated.

This shared Canvas will now appear in your teammates' Canvas Dashboard when they click on Shared by My Team the next time they sign in.
