Need to take your work out of Canvas and bring it into PowerPoint, or GoogleSlides, or Miro, or Figma, or Canva, or Excel, or AutoCAD, or Rhino, or SketchUp, or attach it in an email? There are so many places you can take the work you complete on Canoa. And we make it easy with the Export Selection icon. You are able to export and download all items out of Canvas with the use of this button. Simply follow these easy steps to learn how:
Select the item that you would like to export out of Canvas, and the menu of icons will appear just below them.
Find the Export Selection icon to the far right, and click it.
The Export menu will pop up.
Choose your Format in the dropdown menu selection - PDF, JPEG, PNG, DWG, DXF, or CSV.
Choose your file size in the Size dropdown menu selection - 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x.
Click Download. Your file will most likely download into your downloads folder on your computer.
You can select one item to export individually, or select multiple items at once to export all into one file.
Pro Tip: Here, Size corresponds to output image size or resolution. For smaller file sizes, choose the lower number. For bigger file sizes, choose the higher numbers. At Canoa, we recommend choosing 2x - which usually outputs crisp, clear files that don't take up too much space on your computer.
