# Working with Material Bank ### Step 1: Launch Material Bank * Open a Board in **Material Bank.** * Select the products and data fields you wish to bring into **Canoa** by selecting `Customize Export` .

### Step 2: Export Data * Select `Export`. * Select `Download CSV file` * The CSV should be saved to your downloads or folder of choice.

### Optional\* Step 3: Open a spreadsheet program to format your data * Open the exported CSV in Excel, GoogleSheets, Airtable or your preferred spreadsheet program to update fields to match Canoa’s format. * Refer to the [**Product Data Template**](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jBbhwIQ2Jj5Z14_8MdPvxC8uDidg-GK8shcYdoMLFXs/edit?gid=245220932#gid=245220932) for approved fields and update before importing into Canoa. ### Step 4: Launch Canoa to import your product data * Open a **Canvas** (shown below) or **Catalog Pro.** * Upload the CSV file into **Canvas** or **Catalog Pro**. * Match the fields in the CSV from **Material Bank** with the Canoa provided fields.

* Once imported, you will be prompted to add the product cards to **Canvas**. * The products will be automatically saved to your **Catalog** for use time and time again.

Click on a product to activate Canoa AI on left side. Right click to edit product details on right side.

* Toggle between the product card view and image view when the product is selected. * Use all of Canoa’s design tools to start creating your mood board, layout, or presentation.
